Panchbhuta in Indian philosophy are the five elements the whole universe is made of . Everything is the creation of the Panchbhuta, this philosophical school was found by Brhspatya sage from Rig Veda. This philosophy by the his followers called Lokayata, charvakas who opposed the present time Hindusism based on Caste based society and the parasitism of the Brahaminism. Their outlook was very scientific and this one is the oldest Indian school of philosophy, unfortunately their whole literature was either destroyed or eliminated by the Hindu orthodoxy. The reference to this school prevails in Hindu scriptures and the renowned propagator of the Hindu orthodoxy Shankracharya was the greatest opponent of this school.
